The Story Behind The Design
The Ziggy Balloon began as a playful twist on a candy-cane swirl — a festive design that soon grew into part of the Up, Up and Away collection and became a favourite all year round. Whether you choose rich, bold tones for a circus-themed nursery or stick to classic red and white for the holidays, Ziggy brings a sense of magic to any space. Now, paired with the Mobile Attachment, it can become a truly stunning centrepiece.
Whether hung above a cot, styled as a wall hanging, or used to showcase seasonal colourways, this project is all about mindful making and beautiful handmade detail. Thoughtfully written and human-made, it’s designed to help you enjoy every step of the process.
If you want to grab your pattern so you can get hooking straight away it is available on Etsy, Ravelry and Love Crafts. Or, scroll down to find out more.
