Customise Your Bear
One of the joys of this design is how easily you can make it your own.
A few small tweaks — from yarn choice to ear position and facial embroidery — can completely change your bear’s personality.
- Polar Bear: Work in white, position ears slightly higher and embroider a larger nose for a festive winter twist.
- Classic Contrast: Keep the original body colour and switch the muzzle to white for a timeless look.
- Soft Neutrals: Combine Vanilla Cream and Champagne White for a cosy, natural finish.
Your finished bear will fit neatly inside any Up, Up and Away balloon pattern, so you can mix and match colours and characters to create a full set or seasonal décor.

🎄 Festive Ideas
The bear’s simple shape and crisp cotton finish make it a wonderful Christmas project — ideal for handmade ornaments, keepsake mobiles or unique gifts. Pair your Polar Bear version with the Ziggy Balloon or Lara Balloon for a winter scene that feels straight from a storybook.
